Level 1 uses a standard 120V outlet and gives you about 3β5 miles of range per hour. Level 2 uses a 240V dedicated circuit (the same voltage as your dryer) and gives you 25β35 miles per hour. Most EV owners find Level 1 completely impractical for daily driving. Level 2 fills your car overnight from nearly empty.
